Simple Ways to Create Fresh Content

Featuring unique, interesting, compelling, and fresh content on your website is so important. The more useful the content, the better. And the more often you can provide it, the better. When you are stuck for fresh inspiration, let the following ideas get you unstuck and help get the creative juices flowing.

Read books – Reading can help your mind become more creative – even if you read outside your topic area or read fiction. Reading for enjoyment can open creative areas of your mind that you may have had closed for a while. This is especially true if you’ve been so focused on your business that you haven’t been very creative lately.

Exercise – When you feel stuck, get out of the office and exercise. Take a brisk walk or go to an indoor gym or mall to walk around. Don’t think about your business. Instead, think about breathing and how your arms and legs feel while moving. A brisk 10-minute walk focusing only on your breathing and movement can open your creative mind faster than almost any other activity.

Use private label rights (PLR) – If you are stuck for topic ideas, downloading some PLR within your niche can get you thinking about your niche and your audience in a new way that you may not have considered. While you’re reading the PLR, you may come up with new ideas. Write them down immediately. Even rewriting PLR will provide fresh content for your audience.

Reuse, repurpose, repeat – Every week, take some time to review your old blog posts. Rewrite and update any content that is old irrelevant. Add some new links to spruce it up. You also can take several old blog posts that cover one topic, copy them to a Word document, edit it, and create an ebook to share with your website visitors or email subscribers. Any way you can make the old new again is a good way to create fresh content.

Finally, use a small notepad or your smartphone to write down ideas as they come to you. Don’t believe that you’ll remember it later. Even if you’re in the shower and come up with an idea, get out and write it down before it goes away! Keep track of all of your ideas so you can create fresh content on demand.
