You know you need plenty of content on your website and blog. After all, good content keeps your audience coming back for more. But how can you find the time to keep up with the demand for high quality content that your audience will value? First, you need to understand what constitutes content. Then realize that you don’t have to do it alone.
1. Understand what makes up content – Content isn’t just a certain type of blog post or an article or even text. Sometimes content is a video, an image, a PDF file download, or even an app. When you open up your mind to realize that you can provide all types of content in many forms to your audience, it gets a lot easier to create content fast.
2. Buy private label rights (PLR) content – While you still have to rewrite and edit PLR, this can be a lot faster than starting from scratch. PLR is content that you buy and use as your own. The trick is finding a reputable source for your PLR content. This ensures that the research is accurate and the content is not difficult to rewrite and make it your own.
3. Hire professional writers – Hire someone with experience writing in your niche. To be sure the content sounds like you wrote it, you still will need to edit it and add your own voice. But hiring a professional writer can give you a lot of content written quickly and relatively inexpensively. If you’re looking for a professional writer, look no further! I’d be happy to help you!
4. Curate content from others – You don’t always have to create new content from scratch. Make your website or blog a one-stop shop for your audience by being the source for information in your niche. Introduce (and provide direct links to) important content that your audience will enjoy.
5. Repurpose content – If you’ve written books or other content, you can repurpose it. Even if you have written a blog post, turn it into a podcast or a YouTube video. Change it up a bit, but keep the facts the same and the content will feel brand new.
6. Keep an idea file – Do you find yourself stuck on getting an idea for your content? As you know, ideas come when you least expect them. If you keep track of every content idea as it comes to you, you’ll be able to create content quickly when you need it. Get started with my list of 101 Blog Post Ideas and Prompts.
7. Write in bulk ahead of time – Using your idea file, take a couple of hours to create a lot of content at one time. It’s much easier to write four or five articles or record several videos at one time than to do one at a time every single day. When you’re writing in a dedicated block of time, you will get into a flow and be able to create more content in a short period of time.
8. Keep it simple – Try not to think so hard about each topic that you cause yourself to be unable to create content. Trying to be perfect can cause procrastination, and procrastination can lead to not getting things done. If you want to get content fast, you’ll need to learn to keep it simple.
It is possible to create content fast. You don’t have to spend all your time pecking away at your keyboard to write quality content for your website or blog. Rely on others by outsourcing and curating content. And keep an idea file so when it’s time to create, you’re ready.
